​American Connection Corps​

Christian Appalachian Project (CAP) AmeriCorps

AmeriCorps members provide housing development and repair, emergency utility and crisis assistance, hunger relief, affordable clothing, preschool, in-school, after-school, and summer education, teen leadership development, companionship and transportation for the elderly and individuals with disabilities, disaster relief, and volunteer generation and support in or for residents in the service locations. (Economic Opportunity and Education)

Environmental Education Leadership Corps

Family Resource and Youth Services Centers (FRYSC) Corps

AmeriCorps members tutor students in literacy and provide basic needs support to school-age children in Family Resource and Youth Services Centers (FRYSC) in Kentucky public schools. (Education)​

Global Game Changers AmeriCorps

AmeriCorps members teach students in Global Game Changers Expanded Learning Programs in Jefferson County, providing enrichment instruction resulting in gains in social-emotional skills, power skills, and academics.

HCTC PeerForward

AmeriCorps members serve as peer mentors, using the PeerForward mentoring model, to diverse learners who need intrusive support as well as mentoring high school dual credit students with accommodations, encouraging them to matriculate at to college at one or more of HCTC's three locations and off-campus instructional sites. AmeriCorps members will serve as Community Health Workers (CHW's) in local health departments in communities across Kentucky in core public health programs, including HANDS, WIC, and Harm Reduction. (Capacity Building)
